It’s hard to be away. Away from something you love or people you love. But life has a way of taking us off what and who we have become used to, to change us either for good or for bad.
I had been away from the blog and from a big part of my life I had grown accustomed to for over three weeks. Three crazy weeks of my life, moved to a new city, new people, new life style. Phew! I wanted the change at least but I had no expectations.
I didn’t know what it was going to be like, meeting new people, starting all over. Personally I’m not so sure I do excellent with new stuff, there is something about the old stuff you are used to and change can be scary. But change is constant right? The world itself is dynamic, people, things, gadgets, whatever, just name it. The whole world changes and all you have to do is change with it, move with the tide.
And surprisingly, I realize I handle that change well every damn time. And then I start to wonder why I was anxious about it before. When I sit down to reminisce, I find out that I moved on in ways that I didn’t expect or imagine.
I have lots of stories I want to tell, lots of stuff that happened to me and with me within the three week timeline that I want to share. And I can’t wait to tell them all. I experienced different shades of things, anything and everything you can think of. Except that I gladly skipped horror lessons.
I’m happy I made the change. Change makes you or mar you. This I have come to learn. Eventually you have to choose which one it does to you.
I hope this new city brings more to my life than I could have ever imagined.
I’m back. I hope I’m better too.
To write? I think I might just be ready.
